Carlos Reyes

Mr. Reyes joined Palladium in 2021 and serves as Managing Director and Head of Value Creation. He leads the firm’s value creation agenda, including Sustainability, Generative AI, and Operational Excellence, as well as other portfolio-wide priorities.

Mr. Reyes has more than 20 years of experience in private equity, M&A, and Energy/Infrastructure. Most recently, he served as a Principal in the Asset Management Company Division at the International Finance Corporation (“IFC”), where he worked on the African Latin American Fund. In that role, he managed investments across multiple sectors and served on behalf of IFC in several board capacities. He also led the design and launch of the IFC Equity Tracker Fund and was an IC member of the IFC Mexico Fund.

Before joining IFC, Mr. Reyes held several senior roles at BP plc in London, most recently as a Director in the M&A Group. He began his career at the World Bank Group as an Evaluation Analyst in the Operations Evaluation Division.

Mr. Reyes holds a B.A. in Economics from the Universitat de Barcelona, a Master’s in International Public Policy from George Mason University, and an MBA from the Yale School of Management, where he received a full fellowship by the Fundación Rafael del Pino.
