Carlos Reyes

Mr. Reyes joined Palladium in 2021 and serves as a Managing Director and Head of Sustainability.

He also serves on the Board of Directors of Palladium portfolio company Paragon. Mr. Reyes has more than 20 years’ experience in private equity, M&A, and energy commodities trading. Most recently, he was at the International Finance Corporation Asset Management Company Division, serving as a Principal in the African Latin American Fund (ALAC), where he managed a broad range of investments across multiple sectors and held several board positions. He also lead the design and creation of the IFC Equity  Tracker Fund.

Prior to his time at the IFC, Mr. Reyes held several senior positions at BP plc in London, with his last role being Director of the M&A Group. He began his career as an Evaluation Analyst at the Operations Evaluation Division at the World Bank Group.

Mr. Reyes holds a B.A. in Economics from the Universidad de Barcelona, a Masters in International Public Policy from George Mason University, and an M.B.A from the Yale School of Management, where he was sponsored by the Fundación Rafael del Pino.
